If you want your property taxes reduced, now's your chance.  The following is the amount that Caddo and Bossier property owners could save themselves and their kids over the next 10 years.  

Caddo Sheriff Taxes

10 years = 1.76

10 years = 1.76

10 years = 2.85

10 years = 2.70

Total =      9.07 mills

plus the additional 1/4% sales and use tax for 10 years

Caddo Parish Taxes

10 years = 4.74

10 years = 4.66

10 years = 5.52

10 years = 5.96

10 years = 1.30

Total =     22.18 mills

plus the additional 1% sales tax for the next 25 years (most of our elected officials will be dead or long since retired by then)

Bossier Parish

10 years = 9.25

10 years = 3.6

Total =     12.85 mills

plus the $210Million Bond

(Why spend $210Million on school renovations when we have no idea how Gov. Jindal's school reform plan will shake out?  Will we even have some of those newly renovated schools in 10 years?)
